The National Self-Represented Litigants Project East (NSRLP-E) continues to build on the National Self-Represented Litigants (SRL’s) Research Study conducted by Dr. Julie Macfarlane from 2011-2013. The NSRLP-E, however, focuses specifically on Atlantic Canada.
We are committed to developing practical resources focused on assisting self-represented litigants, undertaking initiatives to help improve access to justice for self-represented litigants, engaging with self-represented litigants and promoting awareness of and research on their needs.
While we are a small research organization, we are not a legal clinic and unfortunately cannot provide you with legal advice or help with legal services.
NSRLP is currently funded by The Law Foundation of Ontario, Justice Canada and is supported by the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University.
